How to Find Out What a Telegram Gift Is Worth
A collectible gift is worth about what buyers recently paid for similar gifts. Start from the collection floor, adjust for model, backdrop and symbol, then compare recent sales on Fragment, Telegram and gift marketplaces.

The short answer
A Telegram gift is worth what a buyer will pay for it today. Open the gift's attributes in Telegram: the Value field shows its approximate resale price. Then check that figure against the collection floor and recent sales of gifts with a similar model, backdrop and symbol.
Ordinary gifts work differently. Telegram's marketplace sells only collectible gifts, so an ordinary gift has no resale price. You can convert it into Stars, which can return fewer Stars than it cost, within 7 days of receiving it by default, or upgrade it into a collectible.
Step 1: find the collection floor
The floor is the lowest asking price in a collection. On 10 October 2026 the cheapest Plush Pepe for sale on Fragment cost 6,666 TON.
Treat the floor as the bottom of the range. It is the price of the cheapest gift on offer, and sellers of gifts with rarer traits can ask more.
Floors differ between marketplaces and change during the day. The GiftsWatch floor tracker lists collection floors from Fragment and Getgems, updated several times a day.
Step 2: read the model, backdrop and symbol
Every collectible gift has a model, a backdrop, a symbol and a number. Telegram picks them at random when a gift is upgraded, so some combinations are rarer than others.
Fragment shows each trait's share of the collection. Plush Pepe #2365, the cheapest one on 10 October, has the Eggplant model (3%), the Sapphire backdrop (2%) and the Cursor symbol (0.5%).
Percentages explain only part of the price. On Fragment, Plush Pepe #214 sold for 6,767 TON on 9 October 2026 and #167 for 11,111 TON on 25 September. Both had traits in the same 0.5–3% range.
Step 3: compare recent sales, not asking prices
An asking price is what a seller wants. A sale price is what a buyer paid. Sales tell you more about value.
On Fragment, the Sold filter and each gift's ownership history show past sale prices with dates. Fragment lists seven Plush Pepe sales between 25 September and 9 October 2026: 6,687, 6,700, 6,767, 7,500, 7,700, 8,888 and 11,111 TON.
The median of those seven sales, 7,500 TON, is 12.5% above the 10 October floor of 6,666 TON. That gap is the difference between the cheapest gift on offer and a typical recent sale.
Telegram's estimated value
Since 31 August 2025, a gift's attributes in Telegram include a Value field with its approximate resale price. You can expand it to see more statistics, such as the average sale price of other gifts in the same collection. When someone makes an offer for your gift, Telegram also shows how close it is to this estimate.
According to Telegram's API documentation, the value data for a collectible covers its first sale, its last sale (marked when it happened on Fragment), the collection floor, an average price and the number of gifts listed for sale.
Gift marketplaces can also report completed sales to Telegram, in TON or USD, labelled as a listing, offer or auction sale. Telegram's rules allow such a report only after a sale is fully complete.
Where to check a gift's price
Check at least two places. The same collection can have a different floor on each marketplace.
- Telegram's Value field, first: open the gift's attributes to see its approximate resale price, and expand it for the collection's average sale price.
- Telegram's marketplace: opened from Send a Gift, it shows resale prices in Stars or TON.
- Fragment: sale prices in TON, trait percentages and each gift's ownership history with past sale prices.
- Portals, Tonnel and MRKT: Telegram mini apps with their own listings, offers and fees.
- GiftsWatch gift pages, for example Plush Pepe: the lowest price on Fragment and Getgems, price history, examples with traits and the cheapest listings.
Step 4: subtract fees
A sale price is not what the seller keeps. Fragment's help page lists a 5% platform fee on each sale of a collectible, plus a network fee of about 1 Gram (TON's coin, called Toncoin until June 2026; 1 Gram equals 1 TON).
Example: a Plush Pepe sold on Fragment for 7,500 TON leaves the seller 7,125 TON; the network fee comes on top.
Telegram's own marketplace pays the seller 80% of a Stars price and 90% of a TON price by default. Gift marketplaces set their own fees: Portals has charged 2% since 10 July 2026, and Tonnel's total fee has been 0.5% since 27 September 2026.

Why do prices differ between Fragment, Telegram and Portals?
Each marketplace has its own sellers, currency and fees. Fragment charges 5% per sale and Portals 2% since July 2026; Tonnel's total fee is 0.5% since 27 September 2026, and Telegram pays the seller 90% of a TON price by default. Compare what you pay or receive after fees.
Do ordinary Telegram gifts have a price?
Only in Stars. You can convert an ordinary gift into Stars within 7 days of receiving it by default, which can return fewer Stars than it cost, or upgrade it into a collectible that can be sold.
