The short answer

Portals, Tonnel and MRKT are gift marketplaces that run as mini apps inside Telegram. You send a collectible gift to the marketplace's account, trade it there for TON and withdraw it back to Telegram when you want. They differ mainly in fees, withdrawal costs and extra features.

All three change their fees through posts in their Telegram channels. Every figure on this page comes from those posts, with the post's date.

Portals: what it offers

You add a gift to Portals by sending it to the @GiftsToPortals account. Portals lets you list several gifts at once, withdraw them in bulk and send gifts to other users inside the app without a fee.

Portals announced on 10 July 2026 that it was bringing back a 2% commission. Earlier in 2026 it ran 0% periods, first for Plush Pepe, Heart Locket and Durov's Cap and then for all collections.

Other features: offers on gifts, a Pre-Market for trading gifts before they unlock in Telegram, gift staking and, since 9 October 2026, top-ups from the Telegram wallet.

Tonnel: what it offers

Tonnel works through the @tonnel_network_bot mini app. To sell, you send the gift to the @giftrelayer account and list it in the app.

Tonnel's total fee has been 0.5% since 27 September 2026: a 0.25% referral fee plus a 0.25% protocol fee. From 13 July 2026 it was 0% plus a 0.5% referral fee. Buying has two modes: with Internal Purchase on, the gift stays on Tonnel; with it off, the gift goes straight to your Telegram account without a transfer fee.

Recent additions: Dutch auctions (July 2026), offers to other Tonnel users through GiftHub (25 September 2026), and deposits and withdrawals through the Telegram wallet (9 October 2026, withdrawals capped at 10 TON during testing).

MRKT: what it offers

MRKT runs as a mini app and, since 10 June 2026, as a website at mrkt.xyz. The website trades Telegram gifts and CS2 skins, accepts TON, USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and SOL, and launched with 0% fees.

Withdrawing a gift costs 0.17 TON, according to a 6 May 2026 post. Some holders pay less: a Plush Pepe kept listed for the required period makes gift withdrawals free (25 September 2026), and five or more Lucky Lockets give 50% off (9 October 2026).

Since 23 July 2026, newly deposited gifts no longer appear on the public @mrktbank account. Look for a deposit in your MRKT history instead.

Portals vs Tonnel

On fees, Tonnel is lower: its total fee of 0.5% (since 27 September 2026) comes to 5 TON on a 1,000 TON sale, against 20 TON at Portals' 2%.

On handling, Portals suits managing many gifts at once, with bulk listing and bulk withdrawals. Tonnel can deliver a purchase straight to your Telegram account when Internal Purchase is off.

Floors differ between the two apps at any moment, so compare the same gift in both before you buy.

Before you send a gift to a marketplace

Open each marketplace from its official channel or bot and send gifts only to the deposit account named inside the app.

Read the fee on the final screen before you confirm. All three changed their fees several times in 2025 and 2026.

Staking, games and team events pay rewards for keeping or trading gifts on the platform. They are separate from a gift's sale price.
