How to Withdraw Telegram Gifts to TON

There are two routes. Move a collectible gift to your TON wallet as an NFT with Send via Blockchain, or sell the gift for TON and withdraw the coins.

Two ways to get from a gift to TON

There are two ways. You can move a collectible gift to your TON wallet as an NFT with Transfer > Send via Blockchain. Or you can sell the gift for TON and withdraw the coins to your wallet.

Both routes need a collectible, upgraded gift. Telegram's marketplace and the blockchain option work only with collectibles, so upgrade an ordinary gift first.

About the name: Gram (TON's coin, called Toncoin until June 2026) took the new name on 15 June 2026. 1 Gram equals 1 TON, and balances and NFTs did not change. Telegram's documentation and many gift apps still write TON, and so does this page.

Route 1: send the gift to your wallet as an NFT

Telegram added this route on 24 January 2025. The gift itself moves to your wallet: you receive the NFT, not TON coins.

  • Install a TON wallet such as Tonkeeper or MyTonWallet and write down its recovery words.
  • Turn on two-step verification in Telegram. The withdrawal asks for that password.
  • Open My Profile > Gifts, tap the gift and choose Transfer > Send via Blockchain.
  • Telegram opens Fragment. Connect your TON wallet there to import the gift as an NFT.
  • If Telegram shows a date, the gift can be exported only from that date.

Route 2: sell the gift for TON

Telegram's marketplace: open the gift, tap Sell and set a price in Stars or TON. By default Telegram pays the seller 80% of a Stars price and 90% of a TON price.

Fragment: once the gift is an NFT in your wallet, you can sell it on Fragment. The buyer's payment goes to your wallet minus a 5% platform fee, and the network charges about 1 Gram.

Portals, Tonnel and MRKT: you send the gift to the marketplace's account and sell it there. The TON lands in your in-app balance, and a separate withdrawal moves it to your wallet. Tonnel, for example, capped withdrawals to the Telegram wallet at 10 TON while testing them on 9 October 2026.

What it costs: example with 10 October 2026 prices

On 10 October 2026 the cheapest Plush Pepe on Fragment cost 6,666 TON. Sold at that price on Fragment, it leaves the seller 6,332.7 TON after the 5% fee; the network fee of about 1 Gram is deducted on top.

The same sale on a marketplace with a 2% commission, such as Portals since 10 July 2026, leaves 6,532.68 TON before the withdrawal to your wallet. On Telegram's own marketplace, the default 90% payout on a TON price leaves 5,999.4 TON.

Moving a gift as an NFT is a transfer, not a sale: there are no sale proceeds, only the gift in your wallet.

Before you confirm

Copy the wallet address from your wallet app instead of typing it. Fragment warns that a wrong address can mean lost funds.

Fragment cannot restore a lost wallet. Without the recovery words, the gift and the coins in that wallet are gone.

Moving a gift needs only your own Telegram password and a confirmation in your wallet. Anyone asking for your recovery words or login code is trying to take the gift. When the rename to Gram was announced, the Gram channel warned that any site, bot or link asking you to claim GRAM or migrate TON is a scam.

How do I withdraw a Telegram gift to a TON wallet?

Open My Profile > Gifts, tap the collectible and choose Transfer > Send via Blockchain. Enter your two-step verification password, then finish the import on Fragment with your TON wallet connected.

Can I withdraw an ordinary gift?

No. Only collectible gifts can go to the blockchain. Upgrade the gift first, then send it.

How do I turn a gift into TON coins?

Sell it. Telegram's marketplace accepts TON prices, Fragment sells NFT gifts for TON, and Portals, Tonnel and MRKT pay into an in-app balance you then withdraw.

Why can't I send my gift to the blockchain yet?

Telegram can set an export date for a gift. Until that date the option stays unavailable.
