Telegram Gift Crafting Guide
Crafting combines one to four collectible gifts of the same type into a rarer, craft-only version. Each gift adds its chance to the total, and all of them burn whether the craft succeeds or not.

What crafting is
Crafting combines one to four collectible gifts of the same type into a new collectible of that type. A successful craft gives an Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary version with its own artwork and effects. Every gift you put in burns, whether the craft succeeds or fails.
Telegram added crafting on 9 February 2026. Craft-only models never appear when you upgrade a gift the usual way.
Which gifts you can use
Start from a collectible you own. Telegram lists your other gifts of the same type that can join the craft, and a gift may show a date before which it cannot be crafted.
You can also buy inputs on Telegram's marketplace. Gifts on sale there can show their craft chance, so you see what each one adds before buying.
The crafted gift takes the ID of the first gift you select, so that first gift has to be in Telegram, not on the TON blockchain.
How the success chance is calculated
Every collectible carries its own craft chance. Telegram adds up the chances of the gifts you select and shows the total as a rounded percentage.
Example: four gifts with 6% each give a 24% chance. Adding a gift raises the total; removing one lowers it.
At 24%, you need about four attempts per success on average, and each attempt burns its inputs.
Which backdrops and symbols carry over
The crafted gift gets a craft-only model. Its backdrop and symbol can come from the gifts you put in, and the more inputs share a backdrop or symbol, the more likely it is to carry over.
Telegram's documentation gives an example: three gifts, two with a green backdrop and one with a black one. With the three-gift probabilities of 6%, 18% and 45%, the green backdrop has an 18% chance to carry over and the black one 6%. Telegram's current default values for three gifts are 7%, 35% and 70%, which gives the green backdrop 35% and the black one 7%.
What you lose when a craft fails
When a craft fails, every gift you put in burns and nothing comes back. Burned gifts cannot be used again.
Gifts survive only if Telegram rejects the craft before it runs, for example when the gifts are of different types or one of them is not craftable yet.
Cost of a craft: example with 10 October 2026 prices
On 10 October 2026 the cheapest Lol Pop on Fragment cost 5 TON and the cheapest Loot Bag 145 TON.
Four Lol Pops at the floor cost 20 TON. At an example chance of 24%, one success costs about 83 TON in burned inputs on average. Four Loot Bags cost 580 TON, so at the same chance one success costs about 2,417 TON.
Compare that cost with the prices of crafted versions of the same gift; MRKT opened trading of crafted gifts on 9 February 2026. If crafted versions sell for less than your cost per success, buying one outright is cheaper than crafting.

How does gift crafting work in Telegram?

Do I get my gifts back if crafting fails?
