Where to buy Telegram Stars
Buy Telegram Stars in the app: open Settings > My Stars and pick a package. On iPhone and on Android from Google Play, Apple or Google takes the payment. You can also buy Stars on Fragment with a TON wallet.
All Stars sales are final. Telegram does not refund Stars bought by mistake, so check the package before you pay.
Buy Stars in the Telegram app
This is the usual route on iPhone and on Android phones that installed Telegram from Google Play.
- Open Telegram and go to Settings > My Stars.
- Pick a package. It shows the number of Stars and the price in your store currency.
- Pay with your Apple ID or Google Play account.
- The Stars appear in your balance on the same screen.
Buy Stars on Fragment
Fragment, the platform that also processes Telegram's creator rewards, sells Stars at fragment.com/stars. Telegram's developer docs note that it allows larger purchases.
Type fragment.com into the browser yourself instead of opening links from chats.
- Open fragment.com/stars and choose Buy Stars Package.
- Connect your Telegram account and a TON wallet.
- Choose whose balance to top up: yours or a friend's.
- Confirm the payment in your wallet.
Buy Stars for someone else
In the app, go to Settings > My Stars, choose to gift Stars and pick a contact. The Stars arrive in the chat as an animated gift box.
Stars already in your balance can't be handed over. Telegram's terms forbid selling or transferring them, so buy new Stars as a gift instead.
If you can't buy Stars
Stars purchases are blocked in some regions, and Telegram's apps then hide the purchase options.
Third-party Telegram apps can't use App Store or Google Play payments. Switch to the official app.
Card declined or charged twice? Contact whoever processed the payment: Apple, Google or the card provider. Telegram's Stars terms send payment issues there.
What Stars cost
Your price per Star depends on the package, the payment route and your country. Some regions add local taxes, and payment providers can add their own fees and conversion rates. Divide the package price by the number of Stars to get your price per Star.
Telegram values a Star at $0.013 when it pays rewards to channel owners and bot developers. That reward value is separate from what you pay for a package.

Can I buy Telegram Stars with TON?
Yes, on Fragment. Connect a TON wallet at fragment.com/stars and pay from it. In the Telegram app itself, Stars are paid through Apple, Google or a card.
Can I buy Stars for a friend?
Yes. Use the gift option in Settings > My Stars, or top up their balance on Fragment. Stars you already own can't be sent.
Can I get a refund on Telegram Stars?
Not for unwanted purchases. Telegram treats all Stars sales as final, but a bot that fails to deliver can return the Stars you spent with it.
Why can't I see the option to buy Stars?
Stars may be blocked in your region, or you are using a third-party app. The official Telegram app shows the purchase options where they are allowed.
