The short answer
Getgems is a TON NFT marketplace that charges 2% on Telegram gift sales and lets you trade gifts off-chain, without exporting them from Telegram. Fragment is the platform behind Telegram's gift export: Send via Blockchain turns a collectible into an NFT through Fragment, and Fragment sells gifts with a 5% platform fee.
Choose Getgems for the lower fee, the off-chain option and its mini app inside Telegram. Choose Fragment when you export a gift from Telegram or bring an NFT gift back to a Telegram profile.
Fees compared
Getgems' fee page, updated 10 July 2026, lists 2% for Telegram gifts, 1% for Telegram usernames and anonymous numbers, and 5% for other NFTs. Getgems asks you to keep at least 0.3 Gram (TON's coin, called Toncoin until June 2026; 1 TON = 1 Gram) in the wallet for network fees; most of it is returned after the transaction.
Fragment's FAQ lists a 5% platform fee on each sale of a collectible, both direct sales and finished auctions, plus blockchain fees of about 1 Gram.
Example: a gift sold for 100 TON brings the seller 98 TON on Getgems and 95 TON on Fragment, before network fees.
Getting a gift onto each platform
Fragment: in Telegram open My Profile > Gifts, tap the gift and choose Transfer > Send via Blockchain. You need two-step verification, and some gifts can be exported only after a set date. Telegram gives you a Fragment link where the gift becomes an NFT in your TON wallet. From My Assets on Fragment you can then sell it or put it up for auction.
Getgems: an NFT gift already in your wallet can be put on sale directly. A gift still in Telegram can go to Getgems off-chain: link your Telegram account in your Getgems profile, then send the gift from My Gifts to @gemsrelayer for 25 Stars.
Getgems' rules for that route: send only collectible gifts, because regular gifts sent to @gemsrelayer are lost; send from a personal account, not a channel; and a gift bought with Stars while sending is locked for 21 days.
Getting a gift back to Telegram
From Getgems, for an off-chain gift: link your Telegram account, send “Hi” to @gemsrelayer, open the gift page and tap Withdraw a Gift, then confirm in your wallet. The gift must not be listed for sale, and the withdrawal costs a fee in Gram.
From a TON wallet, for an NFT gift: on Fragment connect your wallet and Telegram account, open My Assets > Gifts, choose the gift, tap Transfer to Telegram, pick the recipient and confirm in the wallet. Getgems' help, updated 15 January 2026, says Fragment requires KYC verification for this step.
An NFT gift can also stay in the wallet and still appear on a Telegram profile. Telegram calls this a hosted gift: the profile shows it, the wallet stays the owner.
Wallets and access
Both need a TON wallet. Fragment suggests Tonkeeper or MyTonWallet; Getgems' help recommends Keeper and MyWallet. Fragment works at fragment.com in a browser. Getgems works at getgems.io and as the @GetgemsNftBot mini app inside Telegram.
Fragment is run by Fragment Corp., registered in the Seychelles. Its terms say all purchases are final and the company cannot restore a lost wallet. Getgems says it has no access to your funds when you connect a wallet and never asks for your recovery phrase.

Is Getgems cheaper than Fragment?
On fees, yes: the seller pays Getgems 2% of a Telegram gift sale and Fragment 5%. The price of a specific gift depends on its seller on either platform.
Do I need to export a gift to sell it on Getgems?
No. Link your Telegram account to Getgems and send the collectible to @gemsrelayer for 25 Stars; it then trades off-chain from your Getgems profile.
How do I move a gift from Getgems back to Telegram?
For an off-chain gift, tap Withdraw a Gift on its Getgems page and pay the fee in Gram. For an NFT gift, use Transfer to Telegram on Fragment.
Do Getgems or Fragment require KYC?
Getgems says you can buy Stars and Premium there without KYC. For Fragment's Transfer to Telegram, which moves an NFT gift to a profile, Getgems' help says KYC is required.
